Closed 2013 with so much enlightenment and peace, thus a not-so sporadic summary of all things good: Sunday brunch at my latest happy place with Little Miss International and the golden sun. Celebrating the wonderful life of our fine-looking dear great-aunt, her sixty-plus years filled with love and blessings. Enchanting goodbye views at my sister's 28th floor condo. One crazy Halloween housewarming. A farewell-for-now dinner with one of our best girls who was off to Dubai for the time being and a long and fun evening of catching up with another elementary classmate who was visiting from America (both not in photo). As per usual, restaurants that taste and feel like home. Christmas came early at the Aguirre's one Saturday night as we devoured delicious Ilonggo food—pancit molo, chicken inasal, grilled tilapia, smoked bangus, and paella negra. Reunited with my fellow travel enthusiasts as we roamed the city and ended up in a place abound with food trucks; clearly so much has happened since I left. A last-minute invite to Kwento ng Pasko with my fellow Forever Kapamilyas, which we obviously and gladly accepted. In full support of our cousin and the rest of the Philippine Madrigal Singers for their golden anniversary concert (plus the prelude at PassionFest) and just our luck, there were lots of surprise guests. And definitely a lot more. There are just so many to be thankful for. Cheers to the year that has been and together let's see how bright 2014 looks!
